Our work includes mechanical room maintenance contracts as well as installation and repair of commercial and multi-family residential buildings. We specialize in plumbing, heating, gas, and preventative maintenance for mechanical systems.
Position
We are looking for highly motivated Lead HVAC Technician responsible for supervising and mentoring field staff. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering industry-leading customer service, and providing our clients peace of mind through quality workmanship. As part of the team, you will perform a variety of duties to troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety regulations, with an emphasis on predictive and productive maintenance. You are responsible for installing, servicing and trouble-shooting split AC systems, ductless split AC systems, refrigerant piping lines, various rooftop and make up air units, VRV/VRF systems, and cooling towers. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of refrigeration systems and associated fixtures and equipment. Knowledge of boiler and hydronic systems and a willingness to work on them is an asset.
Requirements
- Successful experience with commercial refrigeration/HVAC work;
- Previous experience with building control systems;
- Red Seal Refrigeration, Electrical Endorsement, Gas A and/or B tickets;
- A thorough understanding of provincial HVAC/R code and standards;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with clients and office staff;
- Valid full class driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- Must be comfortable working with mobile devices (we use the FieldEdge mobile app);
- Valid full class driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
