Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Food Counter Attendant/Cashier to join our vibrant food service team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash or electronic payments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Manage food inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
- Kitchen or food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
