We are looking for the best and brightest to take our Technical Sales – CAD Engineer position to the next level.
We require an administrative and organized person for CAD drawings, quotes, calculations, and customer service.
If you share in our passion for superior service, are competent with CAD drawing and have experience with Customer Service, SCHAEFER Elevator Components is the company for you. We are not looking for anyone who needs to relocate.
· Issuing detailed CAD drawings for quotations and orders
· Maintain/organize accounts and orders (MS Office, CAD program, ERP + CRM System)
· Support Sales Manager & Sales Representative and provide feedback
· Respond to and manage inbound inquiries from customers and prospects
· Assist customers nationwide
· Understanding and updating your product and industry knowledge
· Establish and maintain liaison between customers, prospects, and SCHAEFER Team
· Work closely with co-workers in a team environment to achieve project targets
· Post-secondary education or bachelor’s in engineering (graduation at BCIT or similar)
· 2+ years of AutoCAD experience in manufacturing environment preferred using up to date CAD-programs Please note that the drawings are for DETAILED stainless steel.
· Technical/Mechanical knowledge and understanding is mandatory
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities
· Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office
· Professional phone manner and presence
· Self-motivated, friendly, and outgoing
· Knowledge of the metric and imperial system
The requirement for the employee to participate in the continuous improvement process is assumed. Flexibility to incorporate other tasks that do not necessarily belong to the assigned position is expected.
