Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Owner Operator/Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, managing loading and unloading processes, and ensuring timely deliveries. Your expertise in heavy lifting, moving, and operating commercial vehicles will drive our operations forward. Responsibilities:
- Deliver parcels safely and efficiently along assigned routes
- Complete an average of 110–150 stops per shift
- Lift and carry packages up to 50kg
- Use a company-provided route app for navigation and delivery confirmation
- Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service at every stop
- Report any delivery issues, damages, or delays promptly
Requirements:
- Valid full Canadian driver's license (clean driving record preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50kg repeatedly throughout a shift
- Steel-toe safety boots required
- Smartphone (iPhone or Android) with at least 3GB of data
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Available to work long shifts, early morning to night
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Previous delivery/driving experience is an asset but not required
Safety Requirements:
- Steel-toe boots must be worn at all times during shifts
- Follow proper lifting techniques to avoid injury when handling heavy packages
- Practice safe driving habits at all times, including in poor weather or low-light conditions
- Report any workplace hazards, injuries, or safety concerns immediately
