Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Carpentry Labourer/Apprentice to join our team. This role involves assisting with foundations, framing, and siding. Opportunity for a summer student or permanent position.
Duties
- Support concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry tasks as needed
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction machinery safely and effectively
- Aid in the assembly of structures and components according to schematics and construction plans
- Conduct heavy lifting and assist with material handling throughout the job site
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment at all times
Requirements
- Driver's license
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights
- Ability to work well within a team environment and follow detailed instructions
- Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship
