Full Stack Developer (.NET / Blazor / SQL Server) – Contract
Contract term: 1 year | Work model: Hybrid – Downtown Toronto
Role Overview:
The Full Stack Developer will design, build, enhance, and support enterprise business applications.
In this role, you will work with the IT team and business stakeholders to deliver and improve internal enterprise applications, with a primary focus on full stack development in Blazor Server, .NET/.NET Framework, and SQL Server.
· Design, build, test, and maintain full stack business applications using Blazor Server, C#, .NET/.NET Framework, and SQL Server.
· Translate business and systems requirements into practical technical designs and implementation plans.
· Develop and enhance front-end user experiences, back-end services, and database components for enterprise applications.
· Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, data transformations, and processing workflows in SQL Server 2016 and above.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack, including UI, application logic, integrations, and database layers.
· Develop and refine integrations between internal applications, APIs, and backend systems.
· Collaborate with systems analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions on time.
· Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, testing, and documentation.
· Support modernization and continuous improvement of existing enterprise applications where appropriate.
· Provide clear status updates, implementation notes, and operational documentation as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
· 5–7 years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer building scalable web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies, with strong expertise in API development, database design, and end-to-end solution delivery.
· Strong professional experience delivering full stack web applications in C#, .NET, and .NET Framework environments.
· Hands-on experience with Blazor Server development.
· Comfortable working across Blazor Server front-end development, C#/.NET application logic, SQL Server data processing, and systems integration in a business-critical environment.
· Strong SQL Server experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and data transformation.
· Experience designing and consuming web services, APIs, and system integrations.
· Solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and modern web application development practices.
· Ability to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications and working solutions.
· Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise business applications in production environments.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
· Ability to work independently in a contract role and contribute quickly in an established environment.
· Comfortable working across existing enterprise applications while helping improve maintainability, performance, and overall solution quality.
· Ability to contribute quickly, work independently, and balance new development & enhancements and support of existing systems.
Nice-to-Have Skills
· Experience in financial services, insurance, reinsurance, or other regulated environments.
· Experience with ASP.NET Core and browser-based application development.
· Knowledge of DevOps practices and deployment pipelines.
· Experience with reporting tools, including SAP Business Objects.
· Experience balancing enhancement of legacy applications with delivery of newer solutions.
· Experience leveraging AI/ML Tools (e.g., generative AI APIs, intelligent search, and automation) to enhance application functionality, user experience, and data-driven decision-making in full stack solutions.
Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
