Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Install, overhaul, and maintain machinery and production equipment.
- Complete production line setups and changeovers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Operate machine shop equipment including grinders, lathes, milling machines, and saws.
- Fabricate and repair machine parts, fixtures, and guards through welding and machining.
- Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
- Complete PMs, work orders, maintenance reports, and parts requests using CMMS.
- Work closely with maintenance team members, contractors, and production staff.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow all company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License (Required)
- Manufacturing maintenance experience with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, bearings, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturer specifications.
- Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Assets
- 442A Industrial Electrician License
- PLC troubleshooting or programming experience
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
