Responsibilities
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Perform oil changes, fluid top-offs, filter replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and communicate findings clearly to customers.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs accurately and safely.
- Assist customers by explaining services, recommending maintenance solutions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Lift heavy tires and equipment regularly to support service operations without compromising safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Skills
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during tire installation or maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Sales aptitude is a plus for recommending additional services or products to customers.
