Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
- Engage in active selling, including upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, cash handling, and receipts
- Maintain merchandise at a clean standard.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Handle cashiering duties including processing payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and gift cards
- Utilize communication skills to inform customers about promotions, new products, and store policies
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to store policies on phone etiquette and time management
Skills
- Experience in retail sales, with a focus on products and their quality
- Strong communication skills for engaging customers and explaining product features clearly
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling protocols
