The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic business partner and works with senior leadership to support their designated core clients which includes: district management, store management and retail store employees. The Senior HRBP will join an HR team focused on making a positive impact on the business and our people through creating and developing process improvements, project implementation, and offering creative talent solutions.

Responsibilities

Provides strategic HR partnership to senior leaders to support business objectives and organizational performance

Leads complex employee relations matters and offers expert guidance to leaders on sensitive or high-impact situations

Advises on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives

Coaches and mentors HR team members, elevating HR capability and ensuring consistency in HR delivery

Drives talent management initiatives including succession planning, leadership development, and performance calibration

Partners with leaders to strengthen employee engagement, team effectiveness, and retention strategies

Analyzes HR data and trends, providing insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making

Collaborates with other departments to implement HR programs, policies, and processes

Supports the execution of company-wide HR initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Performs other related duties as required to support evolving business and HR priorities
Qualifications
-
5+ years of generalist experience in human resources management
-
Minimum of a post-secondary diploma in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Development or related program of study – Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
-
Specialized training in employment law, organizational development, employee relations, safety, training, leadership and proactive employment relations is considered an asset

Certification in HR preferred

Knowledge of provincial employment laws and practices on a national level
