We have an OUTSTANDING opportunity in our Mississauga, Ontario location for an Inside Sales Associate. This person is the smiling face that greets our customers both on the phone and at the front counter, Monday – Friday (8a.m. - 5p.m.) No two days are alike – you’ll be working both at the front counter, and on the phones, in inside sales.
In this position, you will assist customers face-to-face and by phone or email, providing superior customer service with product inquiries. You’ll be entering orders, generating sales, up-selling, cross-selling, merchandising the show room and flyer items, and identifying sales opportunities.
You are not an order taker, you’re an order MAKER - you are building relationships with our customers, introducing new products, mentioning value, and adding additional contacts within existing accounts that could lead to developing new accounts or to further assist them in other areas of their business.
Our ideal candidate has 2-5 years, or more, of inside sales experience, preferably with industrial sales; experience working in a branch-based B2B environment, on a pro-desk,or parts counter.Tooling experience is not mandatory, but highly desired.
We are looking for someone who is high-energy, motivated, and enjoys being customer-facing. Strong attention to detail is necessary in this position. This position also requires a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and computer skills.
