We are looking for a caring, reliable, high-energy person to join our dog daycare and boarding team.
This is a physically demanding job, not just playing with dogs. The position involves constant cleaning, washing dogs, feeding, walking, supervising groups of dogs, and keeping all dogs safe. At times, you may need to handle dogs alone under high pressure, so confidence, focus, and responsibility are very important.
Responsibilities:
- Clean kennels, play areas, and pet spaces
- Feed, walk, wash, and care for dogs
- Supervise groups of dogs and monitor safety/behavior
- Administer medication or treatments as instructed
- Take videos/photos and send updates to pet owners
- Report any health, behavior, or safety concerns
- Provide friendly customer service
Requirements:
- Must truly care about dogs and animal safety
- High energy and good attitude
- Comfortable handling groups of dogs
- Able to work under pressure and stay calm
- Comfortable with constant cleaning and dog washing
- Able to do physical work, including standing, bending, and heavy lifting sometimes
- Previous animal experience is an asset, but not required
