Night Housekeeper Job Description
Location: Abrio Place
Reports To: Head Housekeeper
Shifts: Friday and Saturdays from 11 PM - 7 AM

Position Summary:
The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our senior residents. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and has a genuine interest in enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitizing:

Clean and sanitize common areas, including lounges, dining rooms, hallways, and bathrooms.

Perform scheduled deep-cleaning tasks in accordance with the lodge’s standards.

Vacuum, mop, and dust all designated areas.

Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with lodge policies.

Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.

Laundry Services:

Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and personal clothing items.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Use cleaning chemicals safely and store them according to regulatory guidelines.

Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel immediately.

Ensure all entrances and exits are secure during the night shift.

Conduct regular checks to ensure the safety and well-being of residents, responding to emergencies as needed.

Resident Interaction:

Maintain a respectful and friendly demeanor when interacting with residents.

Be attentive to the needs and preferences of residents, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

Communicate any resident concerns or requests to the appropriate staff.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a healthcare or residential setting.

Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods.

Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
