Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and support the overall oral health of our patients. Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment
- Support pediatric patients and address their specific dental needs with compassion and patience
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient experience
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus for serving diverse patient populations
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist is required
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred, especially with pediatric patients or orthodontics
- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is advantageous
- Experience with dental assisting, customer service, and medical terminology is beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential for success in this role
Pay: From $52.00 per hour
