Embrace the opportunity to flourish as a psychologist at Ruby Therapy Services, a multidisciplinary clinic located in St. Albert. Our mission is to create a nurturing and resourceful environment for our clinicians, ensuring both professional growth and a meaningful impact on our clients' lives. We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Psychologist to join our assessment team on a contract basis.
This is an assessment-focused role. You will concentrate on what you do best: psychoeducational and autism (ASD) assessments, with our team handling everything around you so you can focus on clinical work and reporting.
Why choose to work at Ruby Therapy Services?
- All Assessment Materials Provided: Our clinic provides the full battery of standardized test kits — including the WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WIAT-III, BASC-3, and ADOS-2 — so you have everything you need without the cost of building your own library.
- Admin & Billing Handled for You: Our administrative staff manage scheduling, intake, billing, and FSCD coordination, alleviating you of the paperwork so you can concentrate on assessment and reporting.
- Weekly Pay: Enjoy our weekly pay schedule.
- Marketing Support: Our skilled marketing team takes the helm of promoting our services and generating referrals, allowing you to focus solely on delivering exceptional care to our clients.
- Comfortable Clinic Space: Quiet, child-friendly, and appropriately equipped assessment rooms in our welcoming St. Albert clinic.
- Convenient Work Environment: Clients come to our clinic, eliminating the need for travel and allowing you to make the most of your time.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside our Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Counsellors. This is especially valuable for autism assessments, where our SLPs contribute communication insights while you evaluate the broader cognitive and behavioural picture.
- Flexible Schedule: Build your caseload how it works for you. Start with a small caseload and scale up over time — from a single afternoon to multiple days — as your availability allows.
- Supportive Team Environment: Our team is connected through regular opportunities to share case questions and resources, as well as fun team events.

- Conduct autism spectrum disorder (ASD) assessments, integrating developmental history, parent interviews, behavioural measures, and standardized observation (ADOS-2) as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic process.

- Communicate diagnoses within your scope of practice.
- Uphold the standards of the College of Alberta Psychologists and our clinic.
- Participate in regular team trainings and meetings.
