Job Description

Role Description
As a member of the Information Security Team, the Security Analyst will represent the security considerations and requirements with our Governance, Risk & Compliance group and Digital Agriculture program initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Work with Governance, Risk & Compliance Team and Internal Audit to facilitate strong controls around user and system access.
Analyze and recommend segregation of duties for various corporate applications
Provisioning of access for various business and Agriculture applications.
Provide input to Agriculture and other business project deliverables to ensure that key security requirements, corporate policies/standards and industry best practices are incorporated into deliverables, and that needed stakeholders are engaged and informed.
Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) reviews representing organizational security considerations/requirements.
Perform security-based risk assessments of business and technology sponsored projects and initiatives, including engagements with third parties.
Work with the program and project teams to address security related questions and coordinate engagement as needed with McCain security stakeholders to provide appropriate guidance and to resolve questions/issues with project initiatives.
Monitor and ensure compliance with security standards, practices, and procedures
Coordinate, facilitate, and monitor the results of security testing and assessments

Minimum Skill Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Information Security / Assurance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from an accredited University or College.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in information technology with at least three (3) years of experience in a security analyst role.
Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSNA, GPEN, CEH, GCIH, GSEC, CRISC, and GCFA will be considered strong assets.
Knowledge and experience in using ISO 27000, NIST, and other applicable security frameworks.
Experience in providing risk opinions and/or conducing risk assessments and presenting assessment findings.
Experience implementing security controls, such as (but not limited to) encryption, identity and access management and vulnerability mitigation.

Travel Requirements
Preference will be given to candidates able to travel within Canada and the US
This position is available to candidates living in the Toronto, Ontario or Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswick area
