We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Labourer/Apprentice Mechanic to support daily operations in a busy mechanic shop. The successful candidate will assist mechanics, maintain a clean and organized work environment, handle tools and parts, and help ensure shop tasks are completed safely and efficiently
Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in mechanic shop, construction, farming, or general labour
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and shop safety practices
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items safely
- Strong work ethic, reliability, willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Fluent in English and French an asset
- Valid driver’s license
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist mechanics with general shop duties and basic maintenance tasks
- Clean and organize the shop, work areas, tools, equipment, and parts
- Move vehicles, equipment, materials, and parts as required
- Wash vehicles, equipment, and shop floors when needed
- Pickup and deliver parts or supplies, If required
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Conduct tire and oil changes
- Perform other essential duties as required
Job Type & Salary: Full-time, Permanent. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experiences
