Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based ABA therapy sessions tailored to each child's unique needs, utilizing reinforcement strategies and data collection methods.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and behavioral data using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and team members to support consistent intervention strategies and provide progress updates.
- Manage case files efficiently while adhering to confidentiality standards and organizational policies.
- Participate in training sessions on medical terminology, patient care techniques, and behavior management strategies to enhance service quality.
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding families through behavioral strategies and empowering them with tools for ongoing support.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children or in a healthcare setting such as hospitals or clinics is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in French is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook for documentation and case management purposes.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care practices, and behavior analysis principles related to ABA therapy.
- Ability to operate computers efficiently and adapt to new software tools quickly.
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities along with strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous administrative experience in healthcare or educational settings is advantageous.
