Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Blaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various blasting techniques and be proficient in preparing surfaces for painting and finishing. This role requires attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Blaster will be responsible for ensuring that all surfaces are properly prepared and meet quality standards before proceeding with further construction or painting processes.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by removing rust, paint, and other contaminants using blasting equipment.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently to achieve desired results. .
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in building and rigging as required for specific projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial painting or industrial painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction painting techniques is a plus.
- Strong skills in time management to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience using power tools safely and effectively is required.
