Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes. The Painter will collaborate with the on-site lead to maintain efficient production processes while adhering to safety standards and quality specifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, or applying primer to ensure proper adhesion of paint or coatings
- Apply paint, stains, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure all safety protocols are followed during painting operations
- Conduct quality checks on finished surfaces to meet company standards and client specifications
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various environmental conditions
