Dor-Co Sales & Service Ltd. is looking for a mechanically inclined service technician with a strong background in electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics. Garage-door experience is not required. Candidates from electrical, security, alarm, access-control, telecommunications, automatic-door, industrial-maintenance, and similar service fields are encouraged to apply.
What you'll work on
Running, terminating, and diagnosing low-voltage wiring
Diagnosing electrical and control-system problems
Reading wiring diagrams and using electrical testing equipment
Installing and servicing controls, sensors, motors, and related equipment
What we're looking for
Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair ability
Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
Professional attitude and good customer-service skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Certified electrician is a strong asset, but is not required
Training will be provided on garage-door operators, automatic doors, access-control systems, barrier gates, and related equipment.
