We're looking to add an enthusiastic person with sales experience to our growing team!
The role of Gus’s Pet Resort’s Reservation Specialist requires a self-motivated individual who thrives working independently but can collaborate and communicate well with members of different departments enabling Grooming and Pet Care Teams to provide quality care to expectation. The Reservation Specialist is responsible for handling all reservation enquiries via phone, email, social media, and this is a sales position.
This sales position is responsible for gathering information about a client’s needs and helping find the best solution for them, booking appointments and reservations for services, handling new client inquiries and sales, and following up on leads. This position requires a detail-oriented individual that can multi-task; one must read a sales script, listen to a client, and input data into our system. Comfort with sales and the idea of selling is critical to this position and sales experience is an asset.
This person may be required to assist with handling clients during morning or evening rush of drop-offs, and cross train for break coverage with the front desk so you MUST LOVE DOGS.
·Are friendly and professional. This role requires someone who can proactively complete administrative and outbound marketing initiatives on slow days.
·Can convey details from a conversation with a client in a way that Grooming and PC teams can make actionable.
·Have a good understanding of dog breeds, basic behavior and grooming services to sell services to clients. Be able to speak to services and care following a script and GPR expectations and guidelines.
·Be attentive to the smallest details and be an effective communicator. The quality of care we are able to provide guests depends on your ability to actively listen and communicate.
·Demonstrate an exceptional level of professionalism on the phone while representing the company.
·Be an active listener, our clients often don’t know just what they need or how we can help them. It’s your job to offer pet care solutions that make their lives easier
·Communication skills for both written and phone communication are cricital to the job.
·Team work, the ability to take direction and constructive criticism to make your job easier and the client’s experience better.
·Computer skills, ability to type while talking on the phone and input accurate information.
·Call centre experience is an asset.
·Sales training and/or experience is an asset.
