Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, providing attentive and personalized service to meet their needs
- Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos and explain technical details clearly
- Assist customers with merchandise merchandising, ensuring displays are attractive and well-organized
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure merchandise is properly labeled and organized
- Provide information on store promotions, upcoming events, and membership programs to enhance customer engagement
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Support overall store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in sporting goods or related fields such as golf or outdoor activities
- Technical sales experience is a plus, with the ability to conduct product demos and explain features effectively
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly in English (additional languages are a bonus)
- Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory management
- Excellent organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Customer service experience that demonstrates patience, friendliness, and problem-solving abilities
