Shipper/Receiver
We are looking to fill the Shipper/Receiver position at our Barrie warehouse.
Job Description
- Operate a forklift to move skids of product, and load and unload trucks, in a warehouse environment;
- Coordinating with scheduling, pick orders according to required shipments/pick-ups;
- Review all paperwork and shipments received and sign off as required;
- Receive finished goods from production department and accurately inventory;
- Organize and maintain a clean and ordered warehouse;
- Wrap skids of product for shipments;
- Provide general administration, ensure all paperwork is complete;
- Maintain relationships with all clients and co-workers, providing solid customer service;
- Accountable to effectively track and resolve shipping issues that may arise;
- Establish and maintain effective communication with the management team;
- Fix damaged cases prior to shipping, if required;
- Other related duties as assigned.
Position Details / Qualifications:
- Experience operating counterbalance forklift;
- Valid forklift certification is considered an asset;
- Start immediately;
- Ability to lift 50 pounds;
- Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure;
- Well organized, strong attention to detail.
This position will be expected to work the following shifts:
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday; 7am-6pm
- Wednesday & Thursday; Off
- Friday; 7am-6pm
- Saturday; Off
