True North Hospitality is hiring Deck Supervisors to help lead our culinary operations at Canada Life Centre. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient operations and memorable experiences for guests attending events at Canada Life Centre.
What to be excited for in this role:
As a Deck Supervisor, you'll work closely with the team to ensure efficient food and beverage service during concerts, sporting events, and other live entertainment. Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising team members and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Coaching, training, and supporting employees to deliver outstanding customer service.

Maintaining strong communication between concession stands, supervisors, and kitchen staff.

Ensuring concession stands are fully stocked and operational before and during events.

Building positive relationships with guests and resolving concerns professionally.
-
Monitoring inventory, cleanliness, food safety, equipment operation, and overall stand performance.

Working with the scheduling team to ensure appropriate staffing levels.

Assisting in all Quick Service areas as operational needs require.

Supporting leadership with daily operations and other assigned duties.
What we need from you:

At least 1 year of supervisory experience in food service, hospitality, concessions, or a related industry.

Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate employees.

Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
-
Smart Choices Certification, or willingness to obtain.
-
A professional attitude with integrity and accountability.
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and bend, reach, and lift up to 10 pounds as required.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and event-based schedules.
