Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and the ability to apply them effectively in practice.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential for successful treatment delivery.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized massage plans.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized treatment area in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress while respecting confidentiality.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new massage techniques through ongoing education.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid massage therapy license with minimum 2000 Hours.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to health assessments and treatment planning.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to listen actively and tailor treatments to meet individual client needs.
- Prior experience in a spa or wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
