Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for various events. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for guests, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with event operations. This role requires individuals who are comfortable in dynamic environments and can effectively communicate with diverse groups of people.
Duties
- Greet and assist guests as they arrive at events, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Provide information about event schedules, activities, and facilities to enhance guest experience.
- Manage cash handling duties including ticket sales, concessions, or merchandise transactions.
- Support food service operations by serving food and beverages while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Facilitate activities for children when applicable, ensuring a fun and safe environment.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all event logistics run smoothly.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces before and after events.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Public speaking skills are a plus for engaging with guests during events.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Previous experience working with children is advantageous for family-oriented events.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
