Apprentice Electrician – Come Build Something Great With Us
Camco Electric is busy, growing, and looking for motivated Apprentice Electricians to join our crew.
We are not looking for someone who just wants to punch a clock. We want people who are excited to learn the trade, work hard, and become part of a team that takes pride in what we build.
At Camco, you will work alongside experienced electricians, foremen, and project managers on a variety of commercial and service projects. You will gain real, hands-on experience, learn the right way to do things, and be given opportunities to grow as your skills develop.

What You’ll Be Doing
As an Apprentice Electrician, you will:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Work closely with journeyperson electricians and foremen to learn proper installation methods and trade best practices.
- Install conduit, cable, lighting, distribution equipment, devices, and low-voltage systems under supervision.
- Learn how to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools.
- Follow Camco’s safety procedures and all jobsite safety requirements.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and professional.
- Help troubleshoot problems and find solutions as part of the team.
- Show up ready to work, learn, contribute, and have your crew’s back.

Electrical or construction experience is an asset, but attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are just as important to us.

- able to work in fast paced environment and alone
- able to work evenings, overnights, and weekends
- have a minimum 1 year working experience
