Job Summary
Terminal Forest Products is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to help develop and strengthen the company's online presence. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern and emerging social media platforms, strong creative instincts, and the ability to produce engaging content that reflects our company, industry, products, and people.
Applicants should be prepared to provide examples of previous work, such as social media pages, campaigns, videos, graphics, photography, writing samples, or other creative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create and manage content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging platforms
· Develop creative photo, video, and written content that promotes TFP, our products, our people, and our operations
· Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns, company announcements, recruitment content, and community/industry updates
· Monitor social media trends and recommend new ideas to improve engagement and brand visibility
· Take photos and videos on-site while following all company safety rules and operational requirements
· Maintain a consistent and professional company image across digital platforms and marketing materials
· Track basic social media performance and provide recommendations for improvement
· Assist with website content updates, brochures, job postings, presentations, and other marketing materials as required
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in marketing, social media management, content creation, communications, or a related field
· Strong understanding of current and emerging social media platforms and online trends
· Ability to provide examples or a portfolio of previous creative work
· Experience creating short-form video, photography, graphics, captions, and campaign content
· Strong writing, communication, organization, and time-management skills
· Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
· Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment and following safety requirements
· Basic computer skills required; experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, or website tools is considered an asset
· The applicant may be required to perform additional duties as needed
Terminal Forest Products is looking to hire an individual who is interested in a full-time, long-term career. TFP offers a compensation package including a starting salary of $65,000 per year, excellent benefits, and an outstanding pension plan.
