Position Title: Child Care Worker Assistant (Canada Summer Jobs Program)
Regent Christian Academy Society
serves children and families across our campus schools, online school, and
early learning programs. We focus on strong academics, whole-child development,
and a Christ-centred environment where students grow in character and purpose.

Reports to: Program Manager
Overview: This summer position assists
in our childcare and early learning programs. It offers young adults a chance
to develop leadership skills while working in a nurturing, Christ-centred
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist lead staff in supervising children during
indoor/outdoor play and excursions.
Help facilitate summer activities, crafts, and
bible-based lessons.
Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for all
children.
Core Competencies

children.
Ability to model Christian values and character to
students.
Target Start Date: July 2, 2026 (8 weeks summer period)

FTE: 35 hours per week
Work Location: Sullivan/Cloverdale
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: CA $19.85 hourly
Benefits: Extended Health & Dental,
Pension plan available upon eligibility.

Requirements &
Qualifications:
Experience in childcare, camp counseling, or youth
ministry is an asset.
Valid First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) Program Mandatory Eligibility:

Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and be legally entitled to work in Canada. (Note: International students are not eligible for CSJ program).
