Marwood Ltd. is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Brookfield, Nova Scotia.
This position requires the successful candidate to work both indoors and outdoors while shipping and receiving truckloads and railcars of lumber.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality control and physical verification of products
- Perform physical inventory counts
- Compile and verify shipping, receiving, and inventory information
- Contriubute to load planning and coordination
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, drivers, and mobile equipment operators
- Assist in strapping and secure truckloads for transportation
- Work night shift as required
The ideal candidate must be able to reliably commute, have have a minimum of two years of related experience and possess strong attention to detail, communication, math, and computer skills.
