Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and construction painting, with proficiency in various painting techniques and tools.
Responsibilities
- Prepare painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint
- Mix, match, and apply paints and other finishes to various surfaces
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine painting requirements
- Operate painting equipment such as brushes, rollers, and spray guns
- Apply paint using rigging or scaffolding for high places
- Perform drywall repairs and carpentry work as needed
- Restore surfaces by sanding, priming, and finishing coats
- Caulk gaps and ensure surfaces are properly sealed
Experience
- Previous experience in industrial or commercial painting
- Knowledge of various painting techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Customer service skills for interacting with clients
