The Thomas Built Bus Customer Support Advocate is responsible for assisting with the smooth operations of the Thomas Built Bus division. This role involves developing and implementing internal and external relationships and driving business growth while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Job Duties
-
Assist Thomas Built Bus and other fleet customers in technical support to determine best repair path

Provide Thomas Built Bus and other fleet customers schematics, parts drawings, warranty documents, and other technical support tools

Set up Thomas Built Bus web access for external customers

Set up and laisse with other dealers and sublet shops to assist customers in resolving service issues

Coordinate parts purchases, shipping, and receipt of defective parts from customers & sublets

Develop and delivery Thomas Built Bus web site training

Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, sublets, and suppliers

Implement and manage CPWA contracts for Thomas Built Bus and fleet customers

Proactively manage Thomas Built Bus recalls including all parts procurement, shipping, receiving and paperwork processing

Assist in planning and participate in annual school bus conference
Assist in creation of Service/ Sales related Thomas Built Bus processes

Qualifications
-
Strong technical / mechanical background with a minimum of 5 years diagnosing heavy duty trucks (preferably Daimler OEM)

Strong verbal and written communication skills both verbally and written

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining an emphasis on detail and quality

Strong customer support skills

Strong computer & system knowledge, experience with Procede preferred

Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects

Above average negotiation and interpersonal skills

Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service

Commercial Transport or Heavy Duty Red Seal
Asset Qualifications

Experience working in or around a unionized environment
Training in Business Management, Sales, Business Marketing or a related field
