Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions, including data entry, account reconciliation, and financial record management. Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and Workday
- Perform data entry tasks accurately across various accounting systems including ADP, Ceridian, Kronos, UltiPro, and PeopleSoft
- Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial records
- Assist with payroll processing and related activities using payroll systems like ADP and Kronos
- Support bookkeeping activities by maintaining organized financial records and documentation
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial data
- Assist in budgeting processes by compiling relevant financial information
- Prepare reports related to account balances, transactions, and financial status for review by senior staff
Skills
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Workday, Ceridian, UltiPro, Kronos, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bookkeeping practices
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to perform account reconciliation efficiently
- Solid understanding of financial services operations and accounting principles
- Analytical skills for account analysis and budget support
- Basic math skills necessary for accurate calculations and data verification
- Experience with account analysis tools like ADP, Sage, or similar systems is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: $63,336.00-$72,800.00 per year
