Are you looking to be part of a team in a fast-paced rural setting? We have an exciting casual opportunity for you at the South Okanagan General Hospital (SOGH) in the friendly town of Oliver.
Working in accordance with established vision and values of the organization and under the general direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Worker III performs maintenance and repair duties related to buildings, grounds and equipment in one or a variety of areas such as electrical, plumbing and painting in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
The available shifts are Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 15:30.
This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements may vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week. Casual employment includes: short-notice, on-call availability; workload coverage during a temporary absence; and/or providing relief coverage in a specific position. Once hired into a casual role, employees are eligible to apply for internal postings including permanent part-time or full time positions. Grade 10, plus two year’s recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
