Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Prior experience in the food industry or food service is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Bilingual English/Arabic is an asset to help serve our diverse customer base.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
Take customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service
Handle cash transactions accurately and balance register at the end of shifts
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils in compliance with food safety standards
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling snacks or light food items
Ensure food safety protocols are followed during all stages of food handling and service
Restock supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations during shifts
Engage with customers to create a positive experience that encourages repeat visits
Skills
Previous Barista experience or background in the food industry is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing
Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and balancing registers
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Experience with serving, food preparation, and general food service operations is preferred
