Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher to join our team. This vital role supports the smooth operation of our kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring all dishware and kitchen tools are sanitized and organized. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and passionate about maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in a fast-paced food service environment. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen surfaces throughout shifts
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food items following safety standards
- Support the team during busy meal times by helping with food service or other duties as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen clean and organized
Skills
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to hygiene standards
- Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform basic food preparation and assist with cooking tasks when required
- Good organizational skills to manage dishware and kitchen supplies efficiently
