Clinical Oversight Lead – Nurse Practitioner or Physician
Part-Time Independent Contractor | Toronto/GTA | Primarily Remote
Drip Society Inc. is a Toronto-based mobile IV hydration and wellness service seeking an Ontario-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician to provide clinical oversight as we strengthen and expand our clinical program.
This is a flexible, primarily remote contractor position with a limited monthly time commitment. It may suit an experienced clinician interested in healthcare leadership, clinical governance and supporting an emerging wellness company.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve clinical policies, protocols and eligibility criteria
- Develop or authorize medical directives and treatment orders, where legally appropriate
- Review IV hydration formulations, medications and supplements
- Provide clinical consultation and escalation support
- Conduct periodic chart, incident and quality-assurance reviews
- Support adverse-event and emergency-response planning
- Advise leadership on regulatory compliance and patient safety
- Participate in occasional clinical-governance meetings
Qualifications
- Active registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario or College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Authorized to practise and prescribe independently in Ontario
- Appropriate professional liability protection
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, emergency medicine, urgent care, infusion therapy or clinical governance preferred
- Strong understanding of medication safety, documentation and evidence-informed care
- Comfortable working collaboratively with registered nurses and business leadership
- No conflicts of interest that would prevent participation
Position Details
- Independent contractor
- Primarily remote, with occasional Toronto/GTA availability
- Flexible schedule
- Anticipated startup work followed by a limited ongoing monthly commitment
- Flat monthly retainer, negotiable based on credentials, responsibilities and availability
- Preferred start date: as soon as possible
