Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Food Service Associate. This role is essential in providing exceptional service and ensuring that our customers have a delightful dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and handling, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with restocking as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Strong skills in meal preparation, cooking, and food handling
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Additional Qualifications
- French (with Francophone Language Eligibility Test Result CLB 5 or higher)
