Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a strong background in accounting software, account reconciliation, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into company performance.
- Ensure accurate account reconciliation and conduct detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Maintain and optimize the use of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Collaborate with auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, account reconciliation, account analysis, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Attention to detail and high level of organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and continuously improve financial processes.

Pay: $67,186.87-$134,290.42 per year
