Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for food quality and safety. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, menu development, and food presentation, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks and food handlers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served
- Develop innovative menus that align with current culinary trends while maintaining operational feasibility
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to uphold health standards
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to optimize kitchen efficiency
- Train staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards
- Coordinate with restaurant management to ensure smooth service flow and exceptional guest experiences
- Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Strong team management skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities in a restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Prior restaurant management experience preferred, with a solid understanding of kitchen workflows and hospitality industry practices
- Hands-on kitchen experience is essential to effectively guide culinary staff and maintain high-quality standards
- Familiarity with the food industry trends, menu development, and customer service excellence is highly desirable
Pay: $40,794.56-$86,005.41 per year
