Shifts: 5 to 9 hours

Bob’s Bud Emporium is hiring a part-time Budtender / Cannabis Expert for in-store retail.
We are looking for someone dependable, customer-focused, and knowledgeable about cannabis. This role is a mix of customer service, product education, compliance, POS transactions, restocking, cleaning, and general store operations. The right person should be comfortable working independently and confident helping customers choose legal cannabis products within Ontario retail rules.
Serve customers in a friendly, professional way.
Verify ID as required, including checking anyone who appears under 25 and confirming customers are 19+.
Answer questions about cannabis products, formats, potency, cannabinoids, terpenes, and responsible-use basics.
Help customers make informed purchasing decisions without giving medical, legal, or therapeutic advice.
Process in-store sales and online orders using the POS system.
Follow AGCO requirements, provincial cannabis retail rules, and company policies.
Handle product, inventory, cash, and secure storage procedures properly.
Restock products, maintain displays, and keep the store clean and organized.
Complete daily store tasks and work independently when required.
Must be 19 years of age or older.
Strong cannabis product knowledge is required.
Previous cannabis retail experience is preferred.
Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
Reliable, organized, and able to follow procedures.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Able to work evenings, weekends, and most holidays.
Must complete an AGCO Board-approved cannabis retail employee training program before the first scheduled shift.
Employment is conditional on a satisfactory recent criminal background check, requested after a conditional offer of employment.
This is an in-store retail position focused on customer service, cannabis product knowledge, compliance, and daily store operations.
