SUMMARY
We are hiring a Finance Manager to join our Finance team. This role will be a full-time, permanent position working out of our head office located in Oakville, Ontario. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to ferocious customer service, treating people right, and being a part of a team. Our team is the heart of everything! The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. As a Finance Manager, you will demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management functions. The Finance Manager will be responsible for contributing to the successful operation of the DRMG Group of Companies.
AS A FINANCE MANAGER, YOU WILL MAKE YOUR IMPACT BY:
Developing financial models and projections to support strategic decision-making.
Reconciling and reviewing revenue and costs to ensure accuracy of financial records and identifying any discrepancies.
Conducting analysis and providing supporting documentation to external auditors to support Financial Statements.
Conducting in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Monitoring financial performance by analyzing monthly and quarterly financial reports and preparing ad-hoc reports for senior management.
Developing and maintaining financial policies and procedures to ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Managing day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Overseeing month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of financial statements.
Preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial analyses as needed.
Developing annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with senior management and department heads.
Monitoring actual financial results against budget and forecast, and identify and explain variances.

Participating in learning and development initiatives proposed by DRMG’s internal learning platform, DRMG University.
Assisting with other tasks as assigned by the VP, Finance.
YOU CAN EXCEL AS A FINANCE MANAGER IF YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
5+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex accounting issues.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the integrity of financial records and reports.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems to manage financial data and streamline processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite applications such as Sheets, Slides, and Docs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
A positive, independently motivated and team-focused attitude with a passion for continuous improvement.
