Job description:
- Check and document quality of various products during different phases of production and suggest improvements to production supervisors and production staff.
- Monitor and document HACCP system activities.
- Inspect all incoming raw materials for quality control, request and review all certificates of analysis before releasing raw material for production.
- Conduct product sampling and analysis (Moisture, TPM, Temperature, Sensory Evaluation etc.) to maintain quality standards of raw materials and finished products.
- Perform chemical testing on a regular basis to measure concentration and effectiveness of chemicals used inhouse.
- Assist in inventory management.
- Identify the nonconformities and inform QA/QC manager to determine the disposition of nonconforming materials.
- Verify sanitation procedures by conducting surface swab analysis.
- Validate test methods and calibrate equipment (Weighing balances, temperature readers, Oil testers) used for product testing on a monthly basis.
- Communicate with management regarding deviations identified during operational inspections.
- Reject and hold products based on quality standards and report to QA/QC Manager.
- Inspect and release finished products for shipment.
- Microbial sampling of raw materials finished products and production equipment on a regular basis.
- Conduct in-house shelf life study of finished products.
- Update trend analysis of Critical Control Points and sanitation swab readings.
- Assist management in preparation for Regulatory and 3rd Party Audits.
- Participate in Food Research and development processes.
- Perform environmental sampling for testing air and water quality.
- Train production staff on quality objectives and workplace safety.
- Assist in preparation of Standard Operating Procedures and Food Safety Plans.
- Ensure finished products meet quality requirements and are safe for consumption.
- Perform other activities assigned by QA/QC manager as and when required.

- Monday to Friday
- Afternoon shift
- Weekends as needed

Pay: $18.50-$20.50 per hour
