We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Mobile Trailer Mechanic / 310J Technician to join our team.
This position is ideal for an experienced technician who is comfortable working independently and performing repairs at customer locations, in the field & at our facility in Milton. You will operate a fully equipped company provided mobile service truck and provide repair, maintenance and diagnostic services on commercial trailers throughout our service area.

Pay

- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
- Full-time, 42.5 hours per week

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform mobile repair and maintenance on commercial trailers at customer locations, in the field, & at our facility in Milton.
- Diagnose, repair and service commercial trailer systems and components, including tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, electrical systems and suspension
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Operate and maintain a company-provided mobile service truck and equipment
- Accurately document repairs, parts used and work completed
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and service requirements
- Work independently while coordinating with our service department
- Follow all company safety procedures and use appropriate PPE
Experience & Requirements
- 310J Truck-Trailer Service Technician licence preferred; however, highly experienced non-licensed trailer technicians with strong diagnostic and field repair skills will be considered
- Applicants without a 310J license must have strong commercial trailer repair experience and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Commercial trailer repair experience required
- Mobile service experience is a strong asset
- Experience using hand, power and air tools
- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset
- Aluminum welding experience is an asset
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Must have own basic mechanic tools
- Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, organized and able to work with minimal supervision
