Ann Johnston Design Consultants is an established residential interior design firm based in Toronto and located in the heart of Designers Walk. Ann Johnston Design is seeking an experienced Senior / Intermediate Interior Designer who can execute creative design solutions freehand and digitally.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes :
- Must be able to collaborate on residential interior projects, including programming client needs, conceptual design, and design development
- Possesses strong communication skills both verbally and through emails /texts
- Participate in the selection of furniture, fabrics and finishes with a skill for colour coordination and strong sense of balance
- Is highly organized and detail oriented
- Support coordination of the finished plans, details and specifications
- Work with consultants, contractors and fabricators to meet overall project objectives
- Coordinate orders and shipment
- Assist in the preparation of deliverables at all project phases
- Complete work efficiently and in a timely fashion.
- Ability to multitask while exercising good judgment and creative vision
- Possesses excellent design and communication skills
- Has extensive site experience, working with contractors
- An exceptional eye for detail and high standards
- Ability to work with a team or independently
- Must have proficiency working in AutoCAD
- Bachelor’s Degree or other form of recognized Interior Design program
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience in residential interior design
- Strong knowledge of the design process, including furniture and specifications, color and materials
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of Word, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and/or, Rhino an asset

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
