Looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Operator/Lead Hand to work in the Lower Mainland, full time, starting immediately
Eagle Valley Excavating Inc. is an established, busy and growing company. Our job sites are mostly commercial projects installing site services (Storm, Sanitary & Water) and bulk excavation.
Job Requirements:
Technical training / 5 years+ experience. Some pipelaying experience would be great. Ability to read civil drawings.
Driver’s license (Class 1 is beneficial). Reliable transportation, as jobsites are throughout the lower mainland, and public transportation is not always available.
Available to work overtime on weekdays if needed, we do not typically work weekends.
Job specifications: You can expect to be outside in a construction area, requiring PPE and safety knowledge. Daily tasks can be reading blueprints, understanding elevations and grades, site preparation, pipe laying, machine operations, installation of water vaults/manholes/storm detention and infiltration systems. Each job site is different in location and in duties keeping you moving and learning all aspects of civil construction.

Must work safe and communicate in English. Must be able to pass criminal record check.
