We are seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our team. This role involves providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for a variety of equipment and systems. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and systems
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs
- Install, calibrate, and test new or repaired equipment to ensure proper operation
- Document service activities, including repairs performed and parts used
- Assist in training or guiding less experienced team members as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Respond promptly to service requests, ensuring minimal downtime for clients or operations
Experience
- Prior experience in mechanical repair, maintenance, or a related field is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Previous welding and fitting experience is considered an asset
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience working with power tools such as drills, grinders, or saws is highly desirable
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, or diagrams to assist in repairs
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
