Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cook. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Cook dishes following safety guidelines and quality standards
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, addressing their needs promptly
- Follow proper food storage procedures to prevent contamination and spoilage
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and meal preparation techniques
- Strong communication skills with a focus on serving customers effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays if required
- A positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction
- Food industry experience or background in food safety is a plus but not mandatory
