Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Drywall and Stud Framer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for framing, installing drywall, and completing various structural components on commercial building projects. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing and drywall installation.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wall studs, ceiling joists, and other framing components using hand tools and power tools.
- Install drywall panels securely, ensuring proper alignment and finishing for a smooth surface ready for painting or further finishing.
- Operate heavy equipment such as lifts or scaffolding safely to access high or difficult areas
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on commercial drywall and framing projects.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, woodworking techniques, and heavy equipment operation..
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle.
- Familiarity with schematics related to structural components and building codes ensures compliance and quality workmanship.
All certifications must be up to date.
